Lincoln Park Dems
To the voters and residents of Lincoln Park’s 3rd Ward, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you showed me at the ballot box yesterday. Though results are currently unofficial, preliminary totals indicate that I have been re-elected as your Councilman. Serving for the past four years as your representative on our borough council has been the honor of a lifetime and I am truly elated that I will be able to continue the work I’ve started over this next term.
I want to thank my wife, Michele, and my cohort of family, friends, and supporters for lifting me up over the course of this year’s campaign. I’d also like to express my gratitude to my opponent, Kate Zuercher, for stepping up, being willing to serve our great town, and participating in a passionate race.
I want to give a shout out to my running mate, Lisa Walker, who I know will continue to be deeply involved in the work of making our community even better.
I do not take this victory lightly; I pledge to each and every one of you, whether you voted for me or not, that I will continue to work diligently to advance initiatives and policies that will serve the quality of life of ALL of our residents. Through the noise and rhetoric of this year’s national election, I am continually inspired by the ability of our residents to unify and do good work to benefit our neighbors. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues on the council to keep Lincoln Park moving forward!
